On a new house project, I am going with poured concrete walls, and I want the brick (or stone if I can find it) texture above grade. Question is how do You water proof walls poured with the brick texture forms ?
all the “waterproofing” (not damp proof) systems require smooth clean surfaces.
Can I use smooth panels and add plastic texture panels to the upper portion?
Does anyone make plastic texture panels to place on forms, in stone texture?
Many Thanks,
Nick

Have a look at http://www.xypex.com, then talk to your concrete supplier. You mix their stuff with the mud, and the result is extremely waterproof.

Splice the forms. Smooth below grade, textured above grade.
