I need product recommendations for removal of water stains from Douglas Fir timbers stained during construction and for the removal of sap that is coming to the surface as the timbers dry. The timbers are S4S and have also been sanded. I would like to keep further sanding to a minimum. Thanks.

I have successfully removed water stains from fir glulams using oxalic acid. Visit a good paint store for details. Also remember to use personal protection for skin and eyesight.
*Thanks, Mike. I'll check it out.
