We were slow in getting a roof on our log home and we have some water stains. The DF logs were handcrafted so I don’t want to sand them. Any suggestions from the Pro’s out there. Thank you!!!

Often, those stains can be sanded out. If not, use one of the Oxalic acid-based wood stain removers. Log home supply places will have them. Some of the better deck stain removers are oxalic acid based.
From the log home suppliers, it may come in crystal form to be mixed and diluted with water, or a liquid that can be cut with water. I usually mix it a little on the light side unless the stains are old and deep. You can apply it with a garden prayer or a brush.
After the solution has had the prescribed time to work, I usually scrub the stains out with a stiff bristled brush, like a masonry brush.
Don't use household bleach.
