not sure if my last post worked. so i will make this the short version. My wife and i are looking at a new house and it has well water. but there is no pressure tank for the well. we are being told that this is correct but i have never seen it done this way. what do you think are we being told a line of BS/

u need one, to even pump/water flow...i go 60 to 80 gal as i have a deep well and don't want the pump going on and off all the time....even my cabin and RV have a presur tank......
thanks for the response that is what i thought so there has to be a tank someplace i just dont know where
There is such a thing as a variable-speed, constant-pressure well pump which doesn't need a tank. IMO it's not a terrific way to do things, but I don't have any personal experience with such a setup to make that more than opinion.
