Hello all,
My name is Tim, and I am a veteran paint and finish guy. I am switching from solvent based coatings to waterborne and I am looking for finishers who have also made the switch. My current job allows me to work on some BIG libraries and paneled rooms. I can spray these things with nasty solvent based lacquers and conversion varnishes while prctically blindfolded, but I am tired of the solvents and fumes. I have just shot 11 gallons of a precat WB urethane and love it, but I am “green” when it comes to green finishes. . .
What are your favorite WB topcoats and why? What is the biggest hurdle you had to overcome with WB? Thanks in advance for any replies.

I use Crystalac. I get it from McFeely's ( http://www.McFeelys.com ) . Although I haven't used a lot of other finishes, I like this one because I can recoat within 45 minutes, it sands well, it doesn't have that blueish tint that some water base finishes have, and it seems pretty durable.
I like SW Ceramathane. I've never sprayed it, just foam rollers and brushes. But have used it successfully on trim, floors, cabinets, etc.
I like Target coatings.
You can get'em at http://www.homesteadfinishing.com
Good advice and spray rigs there too...
minwax makes polycrylic, water based polyuerathane for floors. I've used it for cabinet finishing with great results. best thing is you can tone it up with water based stains.
if you put it over a mineral stain you need to let the stain dry for a good 3 days
