I may have to leave 2700 sq ft exposed for up to 8 weeks, before the roof goes on.
What is a good strategy to prevent degrade of the OSB ?
Spring often times stays wet for some period of time, and OSB has a tendency to swell.
I’m thinking of spraying the decking with Thompson’s Water Seal.
Any comments welcome.

Build up a scaffold with a slight slope and then tarp it. Be sure to leave air vent space around the edges, and check frequently for leaks.
go to the big box stores nd buy up a bunch of off color paint.. exterior..
paint it.... several or even many coats...

IMERC,
I've seen the one they call PIFFEN once.
National Geographic. May 1973.
Being 14 at the time, you can use your imagination.
I turn the page.
There it was.
The one they call PIFFEN.
SHOCKING!
Haven't been right since.

Dry It In!
Roll out the 30# felt paper starting from the bottom up.
Use 30# felt paper fasteners per directions in your area.
Cheap, effective, and lasts longer than visqueen.

If you haven't put the OSB down yet, go with Advantech - mine was exposed for approximately 6 months w/ lots of rain & it's fine.
what soultrain said.
The 3/4 Advantech may cost a little more but you'll save more than that by NOT buying coverings and wasting your time prepping.
