Nick — Vancouver Canada Mar4 In the past i have built many bathrooms with custom showers. I have used both torch-on and butyl rubber, both seem to have their problems. the rubber is hard to fold cleanly in the corners and can cause problems with trying to keep the tile backing board straight, also on the seat to attach the board you have to screw through the rubber! With tourch-on the drain/ silicone seal has failed on me causing a slow leak, and also the corners where the cuts are can be weak. Any miraculous idea’s for the perfect custom shower[ especially with a seat] out there ?
