My addition project is coming along; now with the subflooring going on, and the shift in weather from all snow to snow/rain/sun – I have a question.
During the winter, I wasn’t concerned about a bit of snow on the edges of the joists. If it snowed too much, I did sweep off the accumulations (2.5′ in one storm) from the mudsills.
But with the subfloor – As it’s going to be 3-6 months before I get to the roofing; am I better off covering the work when weather impends; or is just sweeping accumulated water/snow sufficient?
thanks for any suggestions/observations/etc…
