I used GoDaddy.com
Gene Davis, Davis Housewrights, Inc., Lake Placid, NY
sidetrips.com is ours, I have been very happy with technical support
I would be happy to post the link to our web site
I use TwistyBot: http://twistybot.com/
Good tools, good people, good price/benefit ratio.
Groupee.
http://www.groupee.com/
Used to be Infopop.
The most secure server host I have seen.
Fast, courteous and knowledgeable technical service.
Every employee, right up to the owner of the company spends time doing technical service, so they all have hands-on experience and knowledge. And they are not a tiny company.
They even pulled more than a few miracles out of their hat when we moved a broken and unusable " quittintime.com " over there.
I've used cheaper server hosts, and I've used more expensive. These people are worth every penny they charge !
Are we there yet ?
Have you updated your forum profile lately? Please Do!To set your email address, click on your own name on the screen. In the pop-up window, choose "My Prefs". At the very top of the window, you will then see the place to change your email address. Please make sure that you enter a current viable email address. Otherwise you will lose your current history when you re-register.
depends on what you need
I use budgethost.ca
Agreed "depends on what you need"I wouldn't let price be the determining factor. Not only is support important but also their server speed and downtime. Server speed means how long it takes for your site to load when someone "fetches" or types in your web address. If it's more than 5 seconds you'll lose many people without even seeing your website. I would test out some hosts to see how well they stack up against others.Whoever mentioned http://www.sidetrips.com/ I noticed they are lightning fast, but it may also depend on the time of the day.
