“Welcome to our new registration process
I got that message when I tried to log in. I closed Internet Explorer and tried again, no bogus “Welcome” message. It sounds like a Prospero bug. Hope this helps people avoid screwing up their accounts with duplicate entries.

I get that damn thing a few times week and have to re =register with email address and password.

Have you tried closing IE and starting over? My point is, that seems to be an easy way around the bug.

Did you dump all of the cookies? if you did ,as I do you will have to go thru the routine again till you next delete the cookies...

No, actually, I didn't toss my cookies. Today I got in without the bogus message. It seems to happen fairly rarely, and closing the browser and re-opening fixes it.
