Got Married Last month… Lost my Job 2 days later
Got Pregnant just after that…
Found out early this week that the Cdn Gov’t wouldn’t cover my wife for medical insurance untill she has landed immigrant status – that won’t come in for at least 3 months…
Drove 3 1/2 hours to get her covered on Medicade in NY State where she’s from on Tuesday…
Drove home again on Wednesday, and found out the Cdn Gov’t won’t cover me for unemployment insurance…
Wife starts bleeding Thurs Afternoon…
Call Doctor in Canada (He’s a good friend) and am told to get her in to her Doctor in The states ASAP.
Get Doctor’s appt for Friday AM
Lost our first Child together today.
Next week HAS to be better.

I'm sorry for your loss. I hope and pray you and your wife will find the strength to be at peace, and the patience to wait for all the medical insurance to fall into place before trying to have another child.
Bob
*I'm sorry for your loss, and for your hard times. You have support here you don't even know. Next week will be better. Love your wife.Smiley
*I am so sorry to hear of your loss. You and your wife are in our prayers.Tim
*Sorry to hear of your problems. Seems like they come in bunches sometimes. They'd be easier to handle if they'd follow a regular schedule and you knew they were coming or something....My Wife and I also lost a baby once. As it turned out, every other guy who worked in the office I worked in had also lost one. As I understand, one pregnance in 6 ends up being a miscarriage ? By saying this, I don't mean to minimize what you're going through, or make light of it. Just thought it might be of some comfort to know that many of us have been there, and understand how you feel. Hope things turn around for you soon.
*JAG, I'm sorry that you're having such a rough time. It does seem like bad things come all at once. Cherish the good things you do have. Things will get better sooner or later. I hope it's sooner.Ann
*Hang in there, JAG. AnnL is right, and so is everyone else. You guys are in my prayers.
*Thanks Guys. We are working through things, it just gets a little overwhelming, things have to be looking up before long. I just feel awful with the Spartan Christmas we're going to have, and all the pressure on me. I know we'll get through all this one way or the next, we have no other choice. Its good to have folks standing with you in times like these.
*JAG,I am so sorry about the loss of your baby. I hope life is a lot gentler to your family, starting now, and growing better and better in the New Year.Theodora
*JAG,Im so so sorry for your loss and trouble. It seems they do come in bunches. At least you and your wife have each other. You need to be good to each other the love you have will carry you through this. I know it sounds corney but through all the trouble Ive had in my life I always made it through it and passed it. It also made the good times much more appreaciative of what I have. It will make your bond with your wife and her to you much much stronger. God Bless you and Ill keep you in my prayers.
*I'm sorry for your losses too, and for the burden you feel upon your shoulders. But especially for the loss of your baby - that kind of hurt takes time to heal. You are both in my prayers.Lisa
