What are the most durable and comfortable safety glasses?
I currently grab the 3M ones from home depot but my favorite pair have arms that are rubberized and a little flexible. However they are not marked and I don’t know where I got them.
I’m looking for safety glasses that are comfortable enough that me and the guys that work for me will wear them all day. Durability (scratch resistance) and cost are also a factor as we go through a few of them.
We are a gereral remodeling and carpentry co.
Thanks,
Kevin

I like Crews Prodigy glasses. I have been wearing them close to 20 years. I buy them by the box.
IMHO opinion the best safety glasses are the ones that you'll wear. They don't do any good laying on the dash of your pickup truck.
Since everyone lies different things, I don't think there's any way to buy one kind that will make everyone happy. It might be better to tell them they have to get a set, but that you'll reimburse them for whatever they buy.
(Although ya might also have to set a dollar limit - Some are pretty expensive)
Mine are on a croakie around my neck all the time. They are also my sunglasses. I worry as much about cataracts as I do flying stuff. The Florida sun is a killer.
We use the croakies too, thinking about banning the croakie because it seems like my glasses never make it on my face before the debris hit me in the eye.
But at least I have the safety glasses nearby with the croakies in case I remember to use them.
I want to make the move to wearing glasses 100% of the workday if I can and can manage to enforce the rule.
Paying for the glasses is the easy part.
It's getting myself and the guys to remember to put them on that's difficult.
I will say this again. Put them on a croakie around your neck. If you are so dumb that you don't slip then on when shit is likely to be flying ... well the world needs blind people too. I hope you play good piano.
Crews Prodigy glass is good option from all.
