I’ve seen wide commercial doors that use this (for lack of a better description) swinging pivot hinge that allow the door pivot to swing into the building as they open outward. I’ve attached some photos that show these.
What are they called? And has anybody seen a glass shower door that uses hinges like these? I have a perfect application that would give me a nice wide shower door that didn’t take up the whole bathroom when it opened.

Seem 'em a thousand times, never used 'em. Drop by a glass shop that does storefront and show them the pic, they'll bust out a catalog or three and show you stuff just like that.
They're called center balanced, I think. Usually used for high rise buildings.
