what do I need to install behind hardee Board redo
Hi,
getting ready to rip off old T1-11 on older home in southeast Georgia (right above Jax, FL) and would like suggestions on what to do for insulation and moisture wrap before installing hardie Planks. Any advice on the proper barriers for this area’a climate would be appreciated. Current insulation is corning/pink; most is damaged from what I have seen so far; did not hold up against our damp.

what's the budget and underlying issues?
In some situations you can leave the T-111 in place and side over it. That's assuming it is sound and there are no rot or water penetrations issues ect. and etc.
But if you do remove it you'll probably need to start with plywood or osb sheathing before wrap or siding.
Your insulation should not be damaged if the previous siding and related parts were doing their job.
