By bumped off do you mean you cannot find the post?
Check this post... 88987.1
For future reference in the event of a lost thread:
First check back thru the total message volume in Construction file for yesterday and then check the same in the other folders in the event you inadvertently posted in a different folder.
If that doesn't do it, then if you can remember any specified wording you used for sure,
do an advanced search for posts posted by you and see if that post will come up.
Also are you positive that the posting process was completed, in that you checked and saw the post was seen after you finished typing and clicked post?
Cheers
The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation. What is called resignation is confirmed desperation. From the desperate city you go into the desperate country, and have to console yourself with the bravery of minks and muskrats. A stereotyped but unconscious despair is concealed even under what are called the games and amusements of mankind. There is no play in them, for this comes after work. But it is a characteristic of wisdom not to do desperate things.

Your topic is still there, just moved down and out of immediate sight. Hey you even got an answer! Soo...just click the folder heading, "Construction Techniques" to expand the list of topics. You'll find your topic is still alive...if not for very much longer.
An easier way to see if you have messages is to use the dialogue box under "Show discussions..." in the upper left part of your screen and use the pull-down tab to find "Unread messages to me". Click it and all the discussions with messages for you will show up in the left frame.
Boring, that...
or "posts Ive recently seen "
or "Of High Interest"...

Are you saying AndyC's recommendation wouldn't be considered of high interest?
I do not mean to prescribe rules to strong and valiant natures, who will mind their own affairs whether in heaven or hell, and perchance build more magnificently and spend more lavishly than the richest, without ever impoverishing themselves, not knowing how they live — if, indeed, there are any such, as has been dreamed; nor to those who find their encouragement and inspiration in precisely the present condition of things, and cherish it with the fondness and enthusiasm of lovers — and, to some extent, I reckon myself in this number; I do not speak to those who are well employed, in whatever circumstances, and they know whether they are well employed or not; — but mainly to the mass of men who are discontented, and idly complaining of the hardness of their lot or of the times, when they might improve them.

So true.
Forgive my redundancy.

Or if you write the heading something like "She's naked" you'll probably get a lot of hits and it'll stay on top : )~

At the top of the thread listings is a "Show Discussions" drop down menu. In that menu select "of High interest to me" you will see any thread you started or earmarked as interesting. Should be able to find it there no problem.
