What happened? I did not read breaktime for a couple of days, and when I tried to check up on things, I was listed as a guest.
I next tried the log in screen and was told I could not log in because my e-mail address was already being used.
I finaly got here by selecting Stan Fosters name from the list and selecting e-mail. This gave me a place to type my user name and e-mail address. After doing as directed, I ended up back at the original Breaktime forum, from which I think I am posting this question.
Did I get dumped? Was I ever really here? Am I here now? Who am I now?
If this really shows up in the forum, I’ll be totally suprised.

Dave,
You are here, at least I think you are. You're showing up under general discussion.
"Bish"
Thanks Bish. After a couple of years posting on the old site, I thought maybe I was having a major identity crises, or someone else had become me( boy will they be surprised:)
Now the next thing to try is to come back later tonight and see if I am me, or if I am a guest agian.
Dave
If you clean out your temp files or history you have to log in again. THat might be what you are doing.
DW says I never clean anthing out :)
No I did not do a thing different. I normally never logged out of this site even before the change over. In the old system I didn't need to log in unless DW had cleaned out the "cookies". On this new format I have to log in each time, so when that did't pop up I figured something was wrong. I went to another site and then came back through the FHB home page, then to Breaktime, and I still wasn't here. It was/is wierd.
Oh well, as long as the dog still knows me, all is not lost.
By the way, how long does it take you guys to get a message or reply posted? It is averaging two to four minutes for me. WebX was alot faster, even if I was on at 28K.
Dave
This board is not user friendly. Right below where you enter your password there's a box that offers to save your password, click on it, and that should save it until you clean your cookies again. You still have to go to the log in screen every time you visit but it saves you from entering your password again.
Maybe everybody is upset because the old forum fit what we were looking for so much better than any other. I really do believe that it was the ease and simplicity that allowed such good flow in conversations. I do like the spell check here though.
Sorry Dave, I grabbed your email address. And BTW, you get a lot of offers for...
Ready to give it back to you, Fred

Fred,
Actually the e-mail address is my wifes'. It is an abreviated form of her dog kennel name. She raises and shows Cardigan Welch Corgis. My next project before starting on our new home is a kennel building dor her dogs. Our order of building is a little off from what most would consider normal. First we built my shop (a place to keep all my toys), then we build her kennel(a place to keep her toys), and then we will build our house(a place to live and raise our grandson).
Gunner,
I have to agree with you. I like the old format better, but I will keep coming back to this one inspite of the current problems. I hope once some of the bugs are worked out, the exchannge of informatio and ideas will pick up the the former levels.
Thanks for the pointers. I think my identity crises is over, at least for a while.
Dave
same thing happened to me yesterday...or the day before. Finally snuck in some back door.......as a guest......then tried to log in again....and it took me.
