Here in ohio, it's called "stop".
If three edges are sharp and one rounded-bullnose stop.
The more sculpted - OG stop.
That's it!--I found ours described as "Colonial door stop." Thank you.

Always a pleasure.
And for a change, no problems prompting this discussion!
Merry Christmas!
'Tis the season not to look at the problems! Oh, they're still there, but lately I've been making, not fixing: Turning copper wire into armadillos Christmas tree ornaments (yeah, I know the Southwest schtick no longer cool), spinning yarn and knitting "texting mittens," making a parabolic antenna to boost our Wi-Fi signal... I must say, making new things is more rewarding than repairing existing ones.
Happy Hanukkah and Kwanzaa, too. I love the energy of this season.

Texting mittens?
What'll they think of next?
I wonder, do they tweet as well?
Normally, they call it a stop molding but in the case of a bathroom they call it a "go" molding!
