What mortar for swimming pool tiles?
I have a traditional concrete pool with plastered sides. The ceramic tiles have fallen off, however, and I need to re-attach them. What mortar do I use? The tiles are at the water line and are usually submerged. Thanks for any help.

I would say to use a good modified thinset, but that's just a guess. Try asking at johnbridge.com

Thinset will work OK. The secrets are to make sure the tile is moistened not dry. Also the tile cannot touch the deck coping or slab. There should be a silicon gap at the top of the tile, so whatever is above it won't push it off. Most tile that is facing South is the one that's popped off.
