on this commercial receptionist area cabinetry job i am working on; what screws to use for 3/4 melamine cases with butt joints, no need to disassemble. confirmat screws? Hafele Zip-R Screws? Hafele’s confirmat drill jig?

3/4" melamine over what? MDF, MDO, PB.

I buy a variety of screws from McFeelys and they list a variety of screws for particle board. However, I haven't used particle board in a long time, so haven't used their screws. You might want to read the McFeelys web page explaining the uses of their various particle board screws at:

Use #6 x 2" Zip-Rs by Hafele, and drill 1/8" pilot holes.
Use 5mm Confirmat screws no problems don't need jig if you are careful do this all the time. Use the special stepped drill bit
