Anybody know of a good source for tub drains that are no longer made? I’ve got a wondeful corner tub, but the tub shoe is leaking and needs to be replaced. But it’s much larger than what’s available today. From the top, the ID is 2 1/4″, and the total diameter of the flange sitting on the tub interior is 3 11/16″. I am not sure who the manufacturer is, but other fixtures in the bathroom are old Crane. If I cannot find a replacement tub shoe, I will have to replace the entire tub — not what I want to do.
Thanks guys,
Rick

JunkHound will make you one from the hubcap of a '38 Ford.
Your profile doesn't say where you are located. Out in the NW we have 'rebuild it' centers ... stores for used building materials, pieces, parts, and such. Perfect place to look. Maybe you have one near buy? Portland OR has a huge one that is like easily an entire city block.
I also had a line once on a plumbing supply store where the guy knew EVERYTHING about plumbing and could always answer my questions. When I had a cast iron toilet flange 'go bad' (no, I didn't have to send him in for 'reprogramming'), he told me how to replace it w/ a new flange ... ya know ... with the leg and packing and all ... then he leant me some tools to enable me to do it! Dang, I felt like the luckiest guy on the planet.
Not much direct help; might get you thinking in different terms ... which is often the first step to finding a working solution. Someone else may chime in w/ some other thoughts, too (god forbid I would have the only comment on this topic!! ... no offense to Dan).
