I`m going out on a limb here sphere and guessing you`ve never seen it either.I was just wondering if it was bad to be in that space and breathing it inwithout protection of some sort if it was going to be like that for awhile, they are waiting on blueboarders to come and there is no vapor barrier on it.
nope, the only thing like that was called "angel hair" spun glass for xmas displays, I'll bet it is very much the same.

A white fibreglas insulation is sold around NW Ohio as unfaced sound and thermal insul. No or low formaldehyde content. Fibres don't fly around as much either.

I think Johns Manville makes white fiberglass insulation batts, and without the use of formaldehyde binders.
Pretty much same technical specs as Owens Corning pink fiberglass.
