Tubing that some builders are installing for whole house pest services. Is it worth it? Does it work? Is it recommended? Where is the best place to purchase the materials?

Few people understand it. Nobody agrees what it is, how to learn about it, or who's responsible for it. It has never been more important

could you reference this tubing and be a bit more descriptive...
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming
WOW!!! What a Ride!
I’ve seen small blue and yellow tubing that runs in the framing close to the bottom throughout the entire structure. This terminates to a single point on the outside of the house where a pest service can come and run their chemicals in the walls somehow through this tubing. I have noticed some builders like Centex do this. <!----><!---->

They use it alot in the termite-prone areas like Texas. Why would you want to buy the materials yourself, though? Most of the termite companies will run the tubing at no charge or minimal cost in exchange for the treatment contract. It's not like you'll be able to avoid hiring a treatment company for the annual work- you can't buy most of the chemicals yourself.
