Whole house steam humidifiers
Does anyone know of an online source for whole house steam humidifiers (for a house without forced air), such as the Nortec Resdlux? My Google search only yielded HVAC firms that will install the item.

You might call and ask this outfit if they can get that brand/model. They do a lot of Internet business:

Thanks Dan,
Are you familiar with the Aprilaire models?

I have a 700 powered unit (believe it was called 732 or some such when I bought it).
If ignorance is bliss why aren't more people
happy?
You may want to check the TOH web site. I seem to remember a section of ask this old house where they added a steam humidifier. If I remember right it was right in line with everything else that TOH does, big $ over $2,000. The last time I installed one I bought mine thru a heating contractor for $150-200 and he thru in a 1/2 dozen of those mesh things.
The AxAir Nortec is the same model that was shown of ATOH recently. I have steam heat, so I need the independent model.
My house has a defunct "Aqualator," which was a 1900 era candle-powered humidifier....that's not a mistake, it's rustic
