Was there a problem with this brand of saw or something. Anything that I should be weary about the model

if you need one then go grab it
I do have one, but it's a portable Ryobi (but pretty great saw) the only thing is it's direct drive, small capacity, and has no miter slots. anyways, I've always wanted to upgrade.

looks like a decent price and a good fence. If I were adding a shop saaw to my collection, it would be cast iron even on the extensions. that one is stamped steel, I think. I have nothing agaisnt Rigid as a general rule.

I think its one of them NorthEastener things. Now instead of the west coast worm drive vs east coast sidewinder its gonne be Sink vs toilet for which cuts better.

I guess if ya spin it fast enough even a sink will cut. That 1.5" arbor migh be a problem tho'.Spheramid Enterprises Architectural Woodworks
