When my local yard is charging $18.39 for “generic” 5/8 OSB, and $33.00 for 5/8 square edged Advantech?
What’s wrong here?

Few people understand it. Nobody agrees what it is, how to learn about it, or who's responsible for it. It has never been more important

I don't see anything wrong with using generic, especially ifn you get
it dried in (tar paper and/or roof) real quick like.
But if your not , from what I've heard here it sounds like advantech
is the cat's meow
We can get the Weyerhauser knock-off (gold edge or structurewood) for $18 for 5/8 and $13 for 1/2 and $26 for 3/4 t&g. With such a big spread between it and Advantech, I've been thinking of given it a try.
