Do you ever use these?:
Is there any significant advantage in these PVC sills vs. a well-wrapped sill (housewrap, adhesive membrane)?
I’m about to install several windows in a new addition- the project is in a So. Cal. mountain environment that gets a decent amount of rain and some snow during winters. The walls are 2×6 with OSB or ply sheathing. The windows will be vinyl sliders.

I've used them. I liked them until someone here posted a sloped one similar to this:

The JamSill pans are a lot more rigid than the polypropolene type I've used, so they stay together better during door installation.
If it's possible, screw a strip of wood to the floor so that it backs up the pan. Keeps things from sliding around and making a gooey caulk mess.
We'll have a kid
Or maybe we'll rent one
He's got to be straight
We don't want a bent one
He'll drink his baby brew
From a big brass cup
Someday he may be president
