Hi All – First time post here – and a general question about windows. Am building a new house and thinking about Andersen tilt-wash double-hung vs Marvin clad ultimate double hung. Marvin’s are definitely more expensive and appear to be better quality, but at a significantly higher cost. Any experience with either? I would be willing to pay the extra $ if it is worth it, but if there is a consensus that the Andersens are ok, then I would be just as happy to save the money and spend elsewhere. Thanks

Whatever you do no less than "Low E" glass and Argon gas fill with a "warm edge" window spacer. overall average R value 3.5
If you're in a very cold area, really consider the triple glazed, double Low E, kryton gas fill with warm edge spacer. R about 5.5
