I know this topic has been discussed many times in the past but I am looking opinions on the following window. I had it narrowed down to Weathershield an Jeldwen (Pozzi line) and was leaning toward Weathershield since the offer a solid integral aluminum nailing flange. Although they do not offer the 20 year warranty and Auralast finish that Jeld-wen does. Then Jeldwen came out with same nailing flange as Weathershield. With that Jeld-wen is my choice. Now I hear about Semco widows with a similar nailing flange except that is is shipped collapsed and then locked in place on site. Priced a little cheaper than the Jeld-wen they also offer extruded sills, double strength glass and a powder coat finish. Weathershield and Semco only have 10 year warranty. Had never heard of Semco but seem to be leaning in that direction. All thoughts, opinions, and recommendations appreciated. John

I've only used casement and awning Pozzis, and those were before the Jeld Wen aquirement. They were nicely made windows with great hardware. The Jeld Wens I've used recently, Norcos, while ok windows, but needed an expensive sill pan/head corner flashing detail. Bulky and time consuming...not sure about the other windows you mentioned, but I always check the install instructions for unnecessary complications...the BI is sure to<G> Outside of the gates the trucks were unloadin',
