One of my many projects is to redo my old french doors and windows in construction Mahogany, and want to adopt a more modern, insulated design(Double glazed of course).
I could stick draught excluder all around the perimeter, but that goes against the grain!!!
I think there are some decent rubber exclusion products out there, which need special router cutters for the job, but which ones are the best?
The window and door designs themselves are proving quite a challenge, looking at the Anderson catalogue has left my heart running very quicky (designs very technical)..
Ideally I want an Achievable Anderson design but dont have all the Specialist kit they have.
Sourcing decent hinges and window pivots is also proving quite difficult.
Any ideas/Plans/improvements?
Thanks
