In this bath I’m painting they never secured the sink. I think people call it something like cultured marble. The plumbing is kinda holding it in place on the vanity.
Can you drill it and hook and angle bracket to it? It’s none too thick.
Any other ideas?

Usually just some a bead of RTV an the top of the cabinet before you set it in place. And if it has an intergal backsplash behind that also.
You don't need much.
You talking about just the sink, or the whole vanity top?
If it's just the sink, it can also be secured with a small amount of caulking/sealant. No need for brackets/hold downs. James DuHamel
