Won’t be in the Tavern much anymore

YesMaam27577 | Posted in Photo Gallery on September 26, 2003 09:15am

I won’t be spending too much time in the Woodshed Tavern anymore. The ThermoSpa was delivered last week, and there is only one more fence panel to go — the one that shields the view in the attached.

And then I’ll figure out how to put a shadescreen of some sort over the whole thing — maybe a pergola or something. Then some low-volt lights.

After that….just me and DW, maybe a bottle of something bubbly and dry, and the stars.

I think that you posted this in the wrong section.

Didn't you mean to post it in the Fest section.

Also you forget to post your address and dates.

    You just get married?

True compassion arises out of the plane of consciousness where I "am" you.

      Andy:

I got married about a year and a half ago. It's the second time around for both of us. And yes, this installation is related (in a fashion) to how we came to be a permanent couple.

While we were dating, she got me a Father's Day present. She told me that she was going to teach me how to relax. Not just your average Lazyboy-and-beer kind of relaxation. This involved quiet conversation and shared neck and back rubs, while sipping champagne in a candle-lit hot tub.

Although that single event was not "THE" reason, it certainly was a contributor.

I bet you never felt that ring slip through your nose. Happens to the best of us. Thanks be to God for His second thought.

We've had a Hot Springs spa for 8 years.  The subs and pretty much everyone else I deal with knows the "don't call rules "

8-9pm kids bathed, in bed and read to.

9-10 happy hour in the tub

      10-11  adult play time

      11-5  recovery for tommorrow.

Flames in the hot tub too, huh?.

      Excellence is its own reward!

First rule of the Spa...no bodily fluids in the spa water....makes it tough to get the chemistry just right. Spa is to warm up and relax, have a few beers, converse about the daily activities and plan the next. Flames come later.

Yes, I know perfectly well, from personal experience. If you'll note the reply to Andy's question, well.............., I guess I agree with Luka.

I love our hot tub. We have the enclosed gazebo with tinted windows. It's great to sit in on cold nights and sip a cold one. The first winter we had it I figured out about January that the condensation mixed with the cold air can feeze the doors shut. I'm always leary when it turns really cold about getting froze in.

    Who Dares Wins.
