hi,i have a redwood deck that i have been rebuilding,like to know the best fillers to be used for filling in old nail and screw holes.used bondo before but…need something that will not crack and must be flexible and stainable.thanks jvl

Probably ain't gonna happen. stainable means absorbent, NFG OUTDOORS. Flexible means latex or tri-polymer, not stainable too well.
Try maybe using a close color of geocel caulk. Flexible and available in a few colors, but likely will repel stain. It is paintable tho'.
If there is a magic bullet, I'd like to find it too.

I guess you could always go nuts, and "plug the holes" if the holes are all in a row it would look nice. If they're all over the place it might look kinda wierd though.
