About to install my new bamboo floating floor. The floor is 9/16 and the underlayment is about 3/16 thick.
I need to know the proper molding to use when the wood flooring butts up to a carpet Z bar. Would it be a T-molding or a sqaure nose. I also need to know which ot use when the wood florrs butts to the fireplace hearth. Also, ceramic tile. I originally bought the t molding for the Ceramic tile but it looks like the wood flooring will be a bit taller than the c tile.
Brick man did a radius on the hearth so I might be screwed in that area.
Wood flooring will also be butting up against two doors as well.
Since this is a floating floor should adhesive be used to attach them to the floor.
thanks

I'll bet the flooring manufacturer has a lot to say in answer to those questions in their installation sheet
