Hello,
I am going to install pre-finished, engineered, hardwood flooring over a concrete slab at grade level. I haven’t measured the moisture coming through the concrete yet, but I am assuming that I need to install a moisture barrier.
I don’t want the sound and feel of a floating installation. Is it possible to glue the plastic moisture barrier to the slab and glue the floor over that?
Is there any way to paint a sealer over the concrete and glue to the sealed surface?
Thanks,
Rich

I'd use Dri-Core underlayment in that situation. Mosture content in the slab becomes irrelevant.
Steelbuddha,Thanks,I have also found a product called DriTac:http://www.dritac.com/Same thing?Rich
"but I am assuming that I need to install a moisture barrier."
Why?
I forgot to mention the location - Maui, HI. I haven't measured the moisture coming through the slab (yet), but even if it's at 3 lbs or below at the time of measurement, I'd rather be on the safe side. We are reasonably dry in the current location, but there can be seasons of rain every day for weeks if not months.
