Just about any currently-legal preservative should be OK, so long as it dries before you hang the Tyvek, but why do you want this?

i want this to prevent future rot. do you think it isa good idea? is it not standard practice?
I doubt that it will do any good. Your effort is better spent on careful flashing, etc.

You might look into those borate termite treatments. They're water soluable, so they might not last long if you get a leak. The stuff that really works well is copper napthenate, but it's only for exterior use. It has a powerful chemical stink, so I'd only put it outside the housewrap.
