masonry fasteners-
all i’ve known is buying masonry nails for attaching pt furring strips to concrete- these come with a yellow label. nothing abouth being galvanized. How long will these last?
And for sole plates, same thing, and in some instances blue tapcons. How does PT wood treat these?
just wondering
And if I use pl construction adhesive. Does pt affect this as well?

also alot of what is see here done in central FL is masonry nails being used to attach PT furring strips to block walls, and then regular DW screws for the rock. doesn't make sense, but i see it everywhere.

seems no one knows, or cares. I'll bet my answer's out there.
Has no one responded because there is no good response? Is there a such thing as a galvy masonry nail?
Don't tell me this is designed to keep construction/repair labor in demand, cause that's just stupid.
Building the best product from the get-go is the best idea, though not the most 'economical'. I don't buy the 'economical' part most of the time, as it usually means keeping folks in business.
