Wouldn’t it be neat if boom forks had a remote control? So you’re up on the roof but could fire it up and have it fork a load of sheathing and lift it right up to ya. Or with the remote, you could use it like a boom lift (without the extra guy), but still have the fork lift ability. That’d be cooool.
Got any other ‘wouldn’t it be neat if…’ items ???

I think JLG has that feature on their lifts.
JLG has a basket option that has controls in the basket (it apperars to be a boom lift basket that has been adapted to connect to the telehandler boom in lieu of forks).http://logancustomcopper.com

I think it'd be neat if I had some anti-gravity shoes so I wouldn't have to be climbing ladders all day installing 9" Focal Point crown on a cathedral ceiling.
Oh well, I'll wrap that up tomorrow. Probably couldn't afford them anyway.
You tried your golf shoes?http://logancustomcopper.com

I was working inside the house, installing crown on a vaulted ceiling. I don't think my golf shoes would be any help on the ladders.
It was up the ladder, measure and check angles, down the ladder to cut, up the ladder to check the fit, down the ladder to get the glue and gun, up the ladder to install it. All over a curved staircase, over 20' at max. height.
I had 100' feet of crown to install, and only got about 80' up today. Fortunately its T&M.
I think I'm gonna take a shower, have a beer, and go to bed early tonight. I'm getting too old to be climbing ladders so much.

I saw some painters painting a mansard soffit around a fast food joint with paint buckets duct taped to their shoes. It put them at just the right height.
Before we could afford stilts we would screw an old pair of shoes to buckets to tape from![email protected]
