This simple recessed paneling is constructed using 1×4 poplar wood boards attached directly to the existing drywall, which remains as the center panel. Each panel is trimed with applied panel moulding. A picture rail, monochromatic to match the brown wall color above, and a crown moulding at the ceiling finishes off the room.
