“Little bungalow, big design,” is how architectural designer describes this renovation project in Amagansett, New York. This neglected bungalow has been completely transformed by Liceaga’s design vision that called for an open, airy space to make the most of the water views. Because of building restrictions on the island, the designer was limited to the original 800 square feet. This was certainly the challenge to accommodate a family and their kite surfing equipment! He succeeded in overcoming these challenges by creatively raising the ceilding and installing cedar roof trusses used to store surf boards. Other features include a hammock hung in the center of the room.- a playful touch to this city getaway.
