Taping and Mudding Inside Corners

For drywall novices, there's nothing more challenging—or messy—than finishing inside corners

In this series of videos, professional drywall installer Myron R. Ferguson explains that perfect inside corners require a three-step, three-day process. Although we planned to demonstrate his technique in one video, the information ironically comes across better in three videos. Thankfully, your don't have to wait three days to watch the videos, but do you have three minutes? And if you are the gambling type, 333 sounds like a good bet.

Step 1: Taping Drywall Seams
Perfect results result from a balance of materials used and knife pressure

Step 2: Embedding Drywall Corners
To get inside corners right, the tape must be tight

Step 3: Finishing Drywall Seams
For a perfect finish, don't overdo this last step
