Best Small Home of the Year: Matt Hutchins of CAST Architecture
Our award goes to Matt for the backyard cottage he designed in Seattle, Wash. In only 800 sq. ft. of living space, he created a comfortable home filled with daylight and rich in details. The small house feels spacious, encourages outdoor living and is a premier example of an alternative housing opportunity emerging in the Pacific Northwest.
