There’s a guy in my neighborhood who builds wooden mason’s trestles similar to the sawhorses featured in Tom Law’s article Sawhorse. To speed up the cutting of the gains that house the legs, he uses a wobble-dado mounted on a radial-arm saw, along with the cradle setup shown in the drawing. The cradle fits on the table of a radial-arm saw, and its tilt determines the splay of the legs inĀ one direction while the swing of the saw determines the splay in the other direction.
