Everyone loves a good medicine cabinet, and this one was especially satisfying to build. Nothing about it was expensive, but it took a great Carpenter and Painter to pull this off flawlessly.
Here’s a link to the $5 touch latch we used from JR Products.
The painted door to the cabinet is made from Medex which is a dense/waterproof version of MDF. It takes paint well and won’t absorb moisture like typical MDF. We used four Blum hinges with 110 opening to give a wider opening.
In short, none of these details are super tricky but they require a good team of craftsman to ensure this simple detail doesn’t look sloppy when it’s completed.
