There's something about seeing a well kept Maine saltwater farmhouse in the midst of a field of Queen Anne's lace that says without words the beauty of a Maine summer. This particular one is on an island off the mid coast and is very much at home in its surroundings. Nothing fancy or overblown, just a modest, well done farmhouse that has probably been there for a hundred years and is meticulously cared for. There's a lot to be said for just doing the basic stuff well....
