This tool drove the most screws on a single charge of any of the five 12v impact drivers we tested. As with Makita’s other drivers, this model is angled, which distributes more of the weight toward the rear of the tool and improves tool balance both during use and while standing. We tested its durability when we accidentally dropped it from a 25-ft. scaffold. This required only the replacing of the handle.
