Although they look like traditional knobs and levers—and can be rotated like the traditional versions— pushing or pulling on the handle also opens the door. They make passing through a doorway with heavy or bulky loads—or dirty hands—a breeze. Bump the handle with a hip or elbow, or tug with a single finger, and the latch is disengaged.
