An uninsulated mudroom and a garage too small for a car finally got its make-over. The homeowners decided it was time to make the space into a workout/dance area and party room. The structure was torn down and bits and pieces were repurposed by friends, neighbors and family members. They had to work with the existing footprint but were able to add 3 feet to to the side facing their backyard. This additional space enabled them to put in a laundry room and full bath between the main house and the new gym. The renovated space is insulated and the flooring is a floating coretec laminate. With a little coaxing to be in the photo, one of the homeowners gave my husband a few tips on how do a proper pull-up for the shot!
