This outdoor space features a swimming pool seemingly designed to lure Yankees away from their snow.

This expansive Floridian veranda is like a siren song to those of us living in northern climes during the winter months. The warm, abundant sunshine, inviting swimming pool, and protective shade all add up to a very inviting environment and reminds us of how important it is to just be warm. The veranda itself is part of a larger outdoor space that includes an arcade running the length of the house and parallel to the pool. A small guest house is included at the other end of the pool, providing complete enclosure. Designed by Payette Architects of Boston.
