Photographing garages usually requires some clean up, sweeping and minimal styling. Not here! Comfortable and inviting, the space offers a place to park your bike, a beverage of choice and a variety of places to sit. This two-story 1920s small camp near Lake Champlain was first renovated in the 1980s. A second renovation was done last year (2017) improving the building envelope by replacing doors and windows, installing mechanical upgrades and adding new finishes and lighting. The garage footprint stayed the same – approximately 16’x24′ – which is plenty of room to store house bikes, road racing bicycles and dirt bikes. The “Bike Bar” is a place where friends (and dogs) are welcome to stop by and hang out for awhile.

Handy Heat Gun
This heat gun is great for drying joint compound, primer and paint when patching drywall and plaster walls. Plus it can soften adhesive, get a very cold small engine to start, and shrink heat-shrink tubing.
Available in 2- to 12-in. widths, this is a good general-purpose flashing tape that sticks well to most things. It features a two-piece release paper, water-shedding layers, and good UV resistance.
This camera is super useful for tracking down air leaks in buildings. The one-hand pistol grip arrangement frees your other hand for steadying yourself while maneuvering tricky job sites.
