2018 Magazine Archive Software Installation problem on Apple Computers
I purchased the new 2018 FHB and FWW software Archive. Both drives will not install. I have done everything possible to fix the problem and I cannot get anyone at Taunton to tell me what the reason for this issue is… except that only one other person is also having the same problem. Can anyone shed any light on this matter? I have two older editions that I purchased over the years and they worked fine. Taunton sent me two more USB Flash Drives, unannounced, and they are not working either! Thanks for any insight. My computer is a brand new iMac capable of running these programs.

What happens when you try to install them?
1. I cannot install FHB and FWW 2018 Archive. Director Player Error. Application requires an Xtra.
2. Then prompts #Highlighting - Script Error.
3. Once it gets past errors it opens.
4. Unable to search articles within monthly Issues but will show previous years of Bookmarks. Cannot access files within the Bookmarks.

I sent your problem report to Rob @ FHB. He replied to me that he will try to help resolve your problem this coming week. Best of luck and let me know if you hear back from him or not.
I have not heard from Rob. I have had three sets of FHB and FWW sent to me and all three sets are not functioning.
I apologize for the whole FHB experience.

Ok, Rob emailed me back. He sent a memo to customer service to contact you and they didn’t. If I was able to see your forum membership info (as I could prior to this p.o.s. Forum upgrade) I would have coerced the evidently less than customer service customer service to contact you.
So, now Rob is going to call the elusive customer service and since it’s Saturday we can only imagine what might happen.
Keep me informed, I need more ammo to quench my thirst for action.
